In 1965, Buddy Shelton and Jesse Croome started Cape Fear Janitorial Supply Co in Mr. Croome's Garage. Eventually moving to a store location on Blunt Street in Fayetteville NC. They were successful in growing the business in Fayetteville, Dunn, Lumberton, St Pauls, and other surrounding areas. As the company continued to grow, it was decided they would again move the business. This time, to the Gillespie Street Address in Fayetteville, NC 28306.
In 1994, Cape Fear Janitorial Supply was sold to the Current Owners, Nan-Lyn Inc. The company remained in the same building until 2000 when Cape Fear Janitorial broke ground at its current location; 3159 Natal St Fayetteville, NC 28306.
To this day, As a local Small Family Business, Cape Fear Janitorial Supply continues to support the local, County, and State economy.
